By accessing and using the PITICheck web application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Financial & Educational Disclaimer
PITICheck provides estimated calculations of mortgage payments (Principal, Interest, Taxes, and Insurance) strictly for educational and informational purposes. We are NOT a lender, mortgage broker, financial planner, tax advisor, or legal entity authorized to offer financial counseling.
The results provided by our calculator are estimates based on user-inputted data and generalized United States averages for tax and insurance. They do not constitute an offer of credit, a loan approval, or financial advice. Your actual mortgage rate, monthly payment, local property taxes, and home insurance premiums will vary. You should independently verify all information with a licensed financial professional or lender before making real estate or financial decisions.
3. Affiliate Links and Endorsements
The Service is completely free to use but is supported through affiliate marketing and sponsorships. We may display advertisements, sponsor links, and affiliate links (e.g., to Rocket Mortgage, NerdWallet, or comparable mortgage comparison entities). If you click on an affiliate link and utilize the services of these third parties, PITICheck may receive financial compensation. We do not personally guarantee the rates, terms, or services offered by these third parties.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, calculation logic, code, and complete interface design are and will remain the exclusive property of PITICheck and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PITICheck, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service;
- Any conduct, terms, or content of any third-party sponsor or affiliate linked on the Service;
- Any inaccuracies, miscalculations, or errors in the outputs provided by the calculator.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
